DRRR!! shoot and UPLB Movie forum

The January 29 shoot started some hours after lunch.
I met the HCC and they were really fun guys! ^_^

And... as usual... photos were shat instead of words. (This is turning into a Food x Photo blog)

Kit Lens (The normally good shots)

I love the sky.

Another biased shot of the sky... with people in the frame.

The custom lens. (If you don't like soft blurs and spherical aberrations, skip the next set.)
Well... yeah, so some people really hate lens aberrations... but I dig them. They kinda make an accidental out-of-focus blur around the edges (it adds effect... and I like it, whether you like it or nada.)... and I had to destroy the correcting element of a lens to achieve that.

That ends the photo shoot day.

NEXT DAY!
Was teaching day... and was invited over at UPLB for a movie. Movie was Sarung Banggi, an indie-film shown in Cinemalaya way back 2006 or 2007 starring the ever so talented miss Jaclyn Jose and a young actor named Angelito... forgot the surname and too lazeh to google it. Left Parañaque at around 6pm and arrived at UP at 8:30pm. Got seated and the screening started.

The directors of the movie held a short but very informative forum afterwards (it was very entertaining too). Hope I could start shooting on le short movie project we've planned some months before... -___-"
Learned lots! The price a paid for the ticket (and the looong travel) was very much worth it.
