Another baking post. The difference now is, I'll be using less words.

banana, flour, sugar, egg, margarine, butter, powdered milk

pineapples

bananas and cheese

All gone!

"Man doesn't live on bread alone... He needs pineapples and bananas to go with it."

Kailangan agad kainin pagkatapos maluto.

You're my cuppy cake, sugar drop... whatevs.

I let me have another shot at baking because the first attempt was ~meh-bland. The tart I made before was tasteeh... IF you bite it with the filling. The bread was dull...

So okay, now I got all the missing ingredients and the missing baking molds. (can't really call them molds 'coz they're just little white ceramic cups.)
I added sugar, margarine, milk (lots of it 'coz the baking dude from the internet[facebook friend] told me to put lots of milk in it if I want it to taste epic.), and some salt.
Same process used as before. After I got the dough, I flattened it out and placed it in the mold.
So... here's the result:

Pineapples and cheese.

There was excess dough so... I had to cook them even without the filling.

The extra dough, I rolled and made into twisties.(I had to call them by some significant name right?)

It tastes better than what I made before. (maybe because of the milk?) I made three so that the other people in the house could judge what I did. I got tens! Yeay! XD (or they just don't know what good food tastes like... T_T)

And uh... this baking spree was the result of a conversation about Tarte Tatin.

So uhm... If I bake a tart using a cupcake mold... is it a tart? or a cupcake?

Yesterday was conversation day

Title says it all. People from the internets, my phone, customers, photogs, and whosters from the outside world came crashing into my little conversation sphere. I'm not really against it. ^_^ As a matter of fact, I learn things from simple conversations may it be concerning anime, life, or marbles (wtfudge marbles?!).

An old friend buzzed me in Yahoo! Messenger and started a conversation with something like this:
Her: Hui Nelo, paano mo malalaman kung yung guy is gusto kang yayain in a movie date?
And so I answered:
1. "Ui showing yung HP! Wanna watch?!" then wait for you to answer
2. "Gusto mo manood ng movie?" the wait again
3. "Ui gusto mo magkape?" and then after some strolling, the guy will lead you to a movie poster showing the movie he wants to see with you and go "Ui, showing na pala ito!" Even if all the lines he's throwing at you are all scripted and you can even see everything he said written in a little piece of paper hidden in his pocket which he practiced saying last night a thousand cycles over in different tones and approaches.
Her: Eh kung ikaw, paano ka mag-invite for a movie?
Me: I go like this = "Ui HARRY POTTER! (exclaim) Bibili ako ng ticket ha! Gusto mo sumama? (whether or not you choose to go with me or not, I'll still watch the movie. =P And even if you have the budget or not, I DON'T CARE! I'll watch the movie whatever happens)
This photo certainly reminds me of Abbey Road

Then after a while, someone sends me a text through the mobile saying something like:
"Hey, saw the news, the Koreas are in deep sh*t!"
-"Yeah, heard it from the internets."
"What are we gonna do?! Mababawasan na yung Korean Fashion items na iiimport! Tapos yung mga Korean Novela matatakot na sila magproduce! Those heritage sites that are awesome might get damaged toooo!"
-"Good, you're alarmed. You don't usually buy this stuff."
"Eh kasi naman, they might affect the SuJu concerts!"
[and I didn't reply because of the creepiness his text just had. SRSLY, you shouldn't be admiring boy groups if you're a guy. He was probably kidding... but it still creeped me out]
This photo reminds me of Janjie and Aya... and Miss Cassie. XD

Then someone in YM wanted me to try UCGO (universal century gundam online). So, researched I did. (But Yoda I was not. Found out about the game's pros and cons but didn't really understand it.) So I ended up downloading the game to experience it first-hand. Errr... It wasn't that bad... T_T I just got lost because of the vastness of the game map.
But I do like their radar interface!

So... those were three exchanges worth mentioning. If I put them all here, this page would be filled with chocolates. SRSLY, what's with yesterday and chocolates?

Now the review (looking for the moral lesson in the dialogue.)
Case 1: Considering the fact the she's more matured than I am, she still consults me about things like 'how guys do things'. So FACT: No matter what age group you are in, there still are things you don't know. So it's best to accept THE FACT (the fudge?) and ASK questions! Don't be like others pretending to be all-wise.

Case 2: Some humans have this very distinct characteristic of being concerned ONLY about things that directly affect them. Would they care about the RH Bill if Shakira doesn't have anything to do with it? I don't really know.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHY this photo CROSSED MY MIND!

And Case 3: Game reviews and commentaries exist only to give you a brief idea of how the game goes. It's still best to experience it for yourself... and make your own review. It's pretty much like life. I remembered my mom telling me not to play with fire because it might burn you... I ended up proving her right.

That's all I'm going back to where I stopped: hand-stitching a doll's clothes.

I tried baking a tart

Well, the internet really is pretty helpful with things like instructional vids and stuff (retards' guide to baking).
I barged into one of the sites and it made me really hungry. So, I had a go at it.
PHOTODUMP!

In goes the egg, some flour, margarine, and some LOVE! yeah hippie high!

Make two parts, one for the base, the other for the top.

I can't find a mold T_T

So I settled for a leche flan mold-ish. Since I don't know what to call it. I sprinkled some sugar along with the filling because I have a sweet tooth and I'm not a diabetic.

Make holes on top so that steam has somewhere to escape through. (else your bread be like the aquadome of atlantis. I remembered dissecting a frog while doing this. It made me smile. wtfudge?) I also sprinkled sugar on top of it because of the same reasons mentioned above.

And after some minutes of waiting for the 'thing' to cook. (I really don't know what to call it.)

Forgot to mix sugar and salt with the dough... so the bread tastes like ~meh-okay. But the filling's Dora Delicioso XD

Photoshoot day Sunday

Errr. So after some DAYS of not being active here, (this post actually marks the start of my active blogging life, not the post before this.) I'm going to post something about what happened today... uhm, the day before...

It was very tiring... Especially when I only had 3 hours of sleep. Hit the sack at around 4am that morning and woke up at around 7am because of some Taho vendor who ADVERTISED his goods. I went on-location at around 3pm with my brother tagging along with me.
'Kay, 'nuff said. Let's get down to the photodumping process.
Some of the shots:

Okay... so I've been awake for quite some time now... I need to rest.
I still need to do a lot of things after I wake up. Need to sew Natsu's shirt. (oh, yeah, Natsu's a doll who happens to be a very good-paying customer.)
I also need to check on how miss Achelle's print-ons are doing then deliver the dress to her afterwards.
errr... I hope my Saturday's free. I need to go to my bestfriend's house to eat something made by her mom. It makes me relax a bit. XD

The day was productive. Very productive.
