Epic Tuesday (Iglesia Ni Cristo had something in Manila)

Got up at 7am and left the house at 8:30.
Met Jhanine at her school to give her some things for their field trip.
Got my rib broken... lol, dunno (probably a minor fracture), but it hurts - le ouch.

Was planning yo go to Divisoria since it was yey early (my teaching class will start at 4:30pm and it's still 10am)
But nooOOooo. There were no buses, no matter how long I waited.
And so I texted my network to find out what caused all this.

Two of them informed me that Iglesia Ni Cristo rented all the buses so that the members could go to Manila to attend a religious gathering.
Well I'll be damned...
Never have I been so ultimately appalled by an activity of a religious group. I mean... El Shaddai members don't cause that much ruckus! (I should stop comparing religious groups here now...)
[It's actually my fault because I didn't read the morning paper or listen to the news. Because my dad knew about it. So there, no bad blood.]

Anyways, so the Divisoria trip got cancelled so I just went to the center where I teach. Came in at noon and taught kids until 9pm.
Then I went to San Pedro, Laguna to Des' request (of course she offered me free food... why else would I show up?)
Met Des and Pal, and we had arroz caldo and goto.
Also got to take home three slices of pizza. :D

Moral of the story: If you love free food, it will eventually love you back.

[There are only good days if you live a life of an artist.]
